Grass Valley area seasonal treat

One treat we found when we first moved here was seasonal springs. Living out in the county almost everyone has at least part of a seasonal spring stream flowing through their property. It takes quite a bit of rainfall saturation but once they get started they last all season long. Arlene and I found ourselves acting like little kids, placing and replacing rocks in and around the stream to make small waterfalls almost on a daily basis..;)

“Grass Valley has had an average rainfall of 53.74 inches over the last 30 years, which is 37% more than the average nationwide, and 118% more than the average in California.” – weatherdb.com
