Veterans Day

I can remember my Mother saying there seems to be a War every twenty years. From the time I was in third grade until I graduated high school I worried about the Vietnam War.

The War escalated in 1965 and if you graduated and were healthy you went. We all know someone who was touched by that war during that time.

The draft stopped in January 1973, the year I graduated, but guess what I did? Yep after graduation in June I joined the Air Force. Everyone of my friends said I was stupid and that I would change but as it turns out it was one of the best decisions I have made.

We are all affected by war whether you are in the military or not but just having them on that wall makes me feel safe at night.

Thank you Veterans, Good Job!
